T is for TRANSMISSIONS
Celebrating 20 years of Soup in letters…
Developed from a research project pioneered by Soup, and funded by Arts Council England, Transmissions was realised as an audio-visual showcase exploring the rich heritage of the first radio broadcasts within the North-West of England. Working with the Lowry Theatre and The University of Salford, a short performance was produced and presented as part of a Media City UK launch event. This was a chance to work with some great folks including writer Chris Thorpe, dancer Clare Fildes, musicians Graham Massey & Seaming To as well as the very much missed Robert Robson from the Lowry.
